Two Piece Design
Rigid shaft couplings connect two shafts and transfer power from one shaft to the other. They form rigid sleeves around shafts to securely hold them, eliminate backlash, and enable very precise alignment.
Rigid couplings are available in one or two piece design, with or without keyway
The two piece clamp style allows for disassembly and maintenance without removal of other machine components, and also are better balanced.
