SODH System
Two dogs are located in the ratchet body so that the dogs and springs are held securely in place, allowing the reversing lever and dog to switch smoothly. The torque load on the gear it is transmitted vertically to the dog, and in turn, down the ratchet handle. This mechanism locks gears tightly in place while torque is being applied, thus avoiding any gear slippage.
Two Step Dog
Two flats hold two teeth of the ratchet gear, thus increasing the maximum torque load of the ratchet compared with a single-step system.
Quick Release Button
Reversible ratchet with quick release button enables sockets and accessories to be safely locked. By pushing the button the sockets or extension bars are released from the ratchet. Reversible ratchet with quick release button have less strength compared with normal ratchet due to the technical design.
