Pipe fittings are manufactured with female BSPP and male BSPT threads. They are very easy to assemble with no special tools or extra parts being necessary. They can also be assembled and disassembled multiple times
For use with copper, steel or brass pipes. Install where medium to high pressures are encountered. Standard pipe fittings provide good resistance to vibration and are ideal for use in pneumatic and hydraulic control equipment.
Pipe fittings are able to withstand high pressures, use the table below as a guide ONLY Usually pressures are determined by the pipe used rather than the pipe fitting.
Assembly
1. Use a sealing compound. We recommend Chemtools Thread Sealant #8567-50
2. Tighten 1.5 to 2.5 turns past hand tight
